Honoree - Robert H. Dugger
Robert H. Dugger is a managing partner and director of the Hanover Investment Group, LLC, a boutique private equity and investment analysis company. Prior to Hanover, Rob was a managing partner in the Tudor Investment Corporation for fifteen years. Rob’s leadership in championing the Partnership for America’s Economic Success has resulted in both heightened awareness and increased investments in ECE policy and better economic outcomes for children and families The Partnership has engaged in a multifaceted strategy of: researching how a range of investments in young children, from before birth to age five, leads to significant returns; communicating these findings to business and policy leaders to put this issue on the national agenda, and mobilizing leaders as spokespeople for this issue. Rob is a founder of the Partnership for America's Economic Success, chairman of the Invest in Kids Working Group, and a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development - all projects focused on ascertaining and communicating the economic growth and job creation value of investing early in the lives of children. In his home state of Virginia, Rob is board member of Smart Beginnings, a member of Governor Kaine's Strong Start Pre-Kindergarten Council, served as co-chair of Governor Warner's Virginia Early Learning Council, and is a founding board member of the Alexandria Community Trust.
