David Erickson-Pearson David Erickson-Pearson joined the Insight Center board in September of 2008 and brings with him extensive experience in community economic development. He is currently the Principal of Erickson-Pearson Search, an executive search practice, handling the firms marketing, client management and search management. Prior to launching this firm, he was a Vice President with Boulware & Associates Inc., a Chicago-based public interest-focused, retained executive search firm. In this role Mr. Erickson-Pearson worked with nonprofit organizations and local government and other agencies throughout the country to conduct searches for executive directors and departmental managers. Previously, Mr. Erickson-Pearson was a Program Specialist with the United Way of Chicago, working in the Community Development Needs Assessment and Priority Grants area. Prior to that, he was an Economic Development Specialist with the Hull House Association, where he helped identify and develop job-creating business opportunities for the residents of a 500-unit low-rise public housing development. Mr. Erickson-Pearson received a Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, and also studied at the Princeton Theological Seminary and the Seminary Consortium for Urban Pastoral Education. He received his B.A. from North Park College with a major in Urban Studies. Mr. Erickson-Pearson currently sits on the board of God’s Grace Community Church and Urban Servant Corps. He is a past board member of the Chicago Community Loan Fund, the Chicago Jobs Council, and Mile Hi United Way.
