Lori S. Warren, Communications Director Lori Warren is responsible for developing and executing all aspects of the Insight Center's branding and marketing strategy, and for strategically using communications to help advance the organization’s mission and raise its profile. She has spearheaded the organization’s rebranding effort, including the launch of a new name, a new graphic identity, and a completely redesigned website. Lori came to the Insight Center with over 20 years of experience in developing effective marketing and media campaigns for nonprofits, foundations, and consumer brands. Her approach to communications and issue-oriented marketing is firmly grounded in classical marketing training, having spent 10 years working on consumer product branding at some of the most highly regarded advertising agencies in the country. Lori made the transition from for-profit to social cause marketing in her role as Vice President, Director of Strategic Planning for Underground Advertising, a S.F.-based advertising and design firm that specializes in nonprofit communication. During her five years with this firm, she implemented the tools of account management and strategic planning, and played a lead role in new business development. In addition to her marketing expertise, Lori is also an experienced qualitative researcher, having conducted and analyzed focus groups for a wide range of consumer products and social issues. Lori received a bachelor of arts degree, with honors, in psychology from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago with a concentration in marketing and decision science.
