Rodney K. Williams

Mr. Williams is a Principal and head strategist for Addis, Creson, a unique brand and design consultancy committed to creating positive change for people, companies, and comunities. Before joining Addis Creson,  Mr. Williams was Senior Vice President of Marketing for Robert Mondavi Corporation (and later Constellation Wines). Prior to this, Mr. Williams was Director of Marketing Services for General Motors, and was also a Group Product Director for Johnson & Johnson's First Aid/Sports Medicine/Home Health Care franchise. Before entering the for-profit sector, Mr. Williams worked for the Community Workshop on Economic Development, an association of 65 community-based organizations (CBOs) in Chicago. As the Product Director, he worked with the Insight Center  (then NEDLC) to assist 12 CBOs in developing for-profit subsidiaries. Mr. Williams has been a member of the Insight Center board since 2004, where he currently serves as Vice Chair. He also sits on the nonprofit boards of the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco and the United Movement to End Child Soldiering in Washington, D.C., as well as the corporate boards of Maverick Brands LLC, a joint venture of Sunkist Brands, and Pkolino, LLC, an innovative children's furniture company. Mr. Williams is also a producer on the soon-to-be-released documentary on Barack Obama and race entitled "Presidential Race."
 
Mr. Williams received his B.A. in Political Science from Amherst College and his M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management, with concentrations in marketing and finance.
