Randall Gaines, Controller

Randall Gaines joined the Insight Center in 2006. He has over 25 years of accounting experience gained in both the for-profit and governmental sector. Randall has overall responsibility for the Insight Center’s internal and external financial reporting.    Randall is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining the Insight Center, he was a controller for $25MM governmental contractor. He started his professional career at Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young), one of the “Big 8” accounting firms. Randall also has a California Community College Instructor Credential. He taught accounting part time for six years at several Bay Area community colleges.

Randall received a business degree from California State University, Hayward and a Spanish degree from San Francisco State University. He is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants and the California CPA Society.
