Self-Sufficiency Calculator
The Calculator has moved to Self-Sufficiency Solutions. To access the Calculator, visit http://www.ssscalc.org/ca and log in with the username and password supplied by your site's administrator.
If your agency is in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and/or Sonoma Counties, click here to apply for a username and password.
If your agency is in Orange, Riverside, Sacramento or Solano Counties click here to apply for a username and password with your county's lead Calculator partners.

This calculator is exclusively intended for use by counselors who work with low-income families. The Calculator:
- Identifies which of 14 different benefits and tax credits clients are eligible for;
- Describes how each benefit works, where to apply and documents to bring;
- Shows a "before" and "after" budget that takes those benefit amounts into account;
- Tracks client progress toward economic self-sufficiency.
