The National Network of Sector Partners offers a range of services designed to increase sector program and policy effectiveness:

• Assistance to:
  
  • Maximize existing workforce funding streams and develop new funding through regional workforce funding collaboratives and statewide policy initiatives
  • Develop job quality strategies that improve wages and benefits for low-wage workers
  • Develop innovative business models such as employee-owned businesses and alternative staffing agencies
  • Support organizational capacity-building and sustainability planning
• Training, technical assistance, and curriculum development for workforce investment boards, community colleges, community-based organizations, and others on developing sector initiatives
• Qualitative and quantitative research on labor market dynamics, cost-benefit analyses, and more
• Assesment of workforce programs and public-workforce, social-service and education systems
• Facilitation of multistakeholder planning and policy development
• Peer learning and coaching for program managers and policy-makers
• Research-based planning and implementation support
• Development of policy, advocacy, and communications strategies
